Apr 01, 2018Yes it can be done, as long as its done the right way.
Please tell the method you had tried. You are doing platform migration.
- Whats the base version that's present on the volumes (on i2600),
tmsh show sys software
- Did you save the UCS properly on 2200 & scp'd it to the i2600.
- How was the installation done on i2600,
tmsh load /sys ucs no-license
Or you can take the route of SCF restore.

- Save the config.
tmsh save sys config file /var/tmp/$HOSTNAME

SCP the 2 files (scf and tar file) from 2200 /var/tmp/ to the i2600 tmp directory.

Load all configuration on i2600
