Apr 26, 2015"log file: " prompt
At the end of the log command sh /sys log , am getting "log file:" prompt to enter , not able to quit from that prompt. how do I get out of it?

Can you elaborate on this? I assume you mean "tmsh [cmd] /sys log". Is that correct? If so, what is the [cmd] you are trying to use with this command? On which version of BIG-IP are you trying this? - Mck9_190625

version is 10.1
sh /sys log
at the end of the output where it says "(END)", am not able to get out of the log screen.
I tried ctrl+c but it asks me to provide a "log file:" prompt, it is expecting a name for some reason.

try typing ltm at the prompt see if that helps, also, when typing the command, try specifying the log name to see if that prevents the file prompt i.e. show /sys log ltm

sorry I actually typed sh / sys log ltm, how do you get out at the end of the log where it says (END)
