Load Balance ICMP and DNS problem
Hello,
I configured a Big-IP for loadbalance of 2 links:
- Node for ISP1 x.x.x.1
- Node for ISP2 x.x.x.17
- Pool Internet with Nodes ISP1 and ISP2.
- Virtual Server Gateway, destination 0.0.0.0 with pool Internet with Round-Robin balance.
- Virtual Address 0.0.0.0 with ICMP echo disabled.
When I enabled the ICMP echo in Virtual Address 0.0.0.0, I have ping, but the DNS resolution fail. Can you help me?.
Regards,
Oscar Ponce

What have you configured as your DNS setttings?
What are trying to resolve?
Can see queries on port 53 via tcpdump?

I don't have a DNS settings on Big-IP. When I enabled the ICMP echo in Virtual address 0.0.0.0, I lost DNS resolution to internet.
