Live Update notification for not licensed feature
Hello,
We just migrated from BIG-IP 12.1 to 14.1 and are experiencing a small but rather annoying issue with Live Update. Live Update keeps notifying users in the GUI about available updates for Bot Signatures ("Live Update Available") – the thing is: we have not licensed this feature and cannot install any updates.
It seems as if Live Update found an old Bot Signatures file on the drive during the update and added it to the installation history (how the file got there in the first place, I can't really tell). Simply deleting the file from the drive unfortunately does not do the trick because Live Update keeps its records in the local MariaDB.
Is there any way to reset or refresh Live Update or to get rid off the database entry? I did not find anything in the documentation. I already tried restarting the services as well as the firewall with no success. I also tried disabling auto-download of updates.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Marco
