Limit VPN client to pull just AUTH credentials from PIV card

We are using the F5 BigIP Edge VPN client with PIV card authentication.

 

Is there any way to configure it so that it will only pull AUTH credentials from the card, instead of making me select from ID or AUTH, when I will always be selection AUTH credentials? It's bad enough that it takes a couple of passes for the VPN client to finally connect.
