Nimbostratuslimit traffic from and to Internet
We have some problems with the service of internet and other services that pass throughout the BIGIP LTM. This causes that traffic slows down.
We want to limit the traffic of those users in LAN or hosts in Internet that generate/receive too many sessions/connections.
For example, There was a host in the LAN that had 5000 connections from different hosts in Internet trying to connect to this host using port 16583/UDP
Any idea about it?

You could try using connection limits or connection rate limits to accomplish this (though the drawback may be some clients can't connect if there's too many existing connections, depending on the configuration) See this link for more detail.

there are number of connection limit and connection rate limit irule samples in codeshare. could it be useful?
