License issue on and F5 VE in VMware environment.

Folks, my question is on the license for running a F5 VE running on a VWware environment. What I understand that the license is tied to one particular host on the VMware environment. We have had a situation when the host has gone down the the VE has not been working due to the license issue.

 

Has anyone heard about such an issue? If yes, what is the workaround?
