LDAP Pool, Mark pool member down as per LDAP response

Hi All,

We are using LTM to load balance LDAP server. client requirement is instead of health monitor(health monitor take some time to mark pool member down), is there any way LTM will check LDAP server response for LDAP error code. If server respond with unexpected answer then mark that pool member down and hold the request to reselect other pool member.

Thanks, Sachin

You can use a sideband connection to query the LDAP server, analyze the response and then mark the pool member down. Here is an intro to sideband connections.
