LDAP connections and B4 errors

Hello,

 

LTM v12.1.2

 

When I run a LDAP load test, 300 connections all at once to a VIP, after approximately 30 seconds the back-end LDAP server reports “B4” errors and all the connections are dropped. When I run the same LDAP load test directly to the LDAP server itself no “B4” error. I realize that this is an Oracle error but something is happening with when connecting through the F5.

 

I followed the “Deploying the BIG-IP System for LDAP Traffic Management” guide when configuring the BIG-IP.

 

I can see a BIND with a RESULT for it and then after there is a SRCH but no RESULT that follows since it gets that B4 error. Sometimes I seen it where it's just the connection and it never got to the SRCH part just getting B4 immediately.

 

I would appreciate any help.
