LAB VE LTM Licenses

Hi,

 

We purchased a lab ve ltm. We realized it only has a 10Mbps throughput. Speaking with a F5 engineer in the past, I was told there are additional licenses to increase capacity and throughput? Is this true? I can't find much information on it.

    The lab license has (almost) all modules and features enabled and it is intended for non-production use, i.e. lab/testing..thus the nice price.

     

    To my knowledge, and in F5 October 2014 price list, there is no license upgrade from that to higher capacity one. You need to purchase production versions with the throughput and the module set you need. Available licenses in the price list are with 25Mbps, 200Mbps, 1Gbps, 3Gpbs, 5Gbps and 10Gbps throughput (max value depends on the hypervisor used). Earlier on there were throughput license upgrades for production versions, but now they seem to be removed the price list.
