L4 profile

If i create an L4 profile for my SMTP servers can i still do loadbalcing .   The require is not to have any SNAT since the reverse traffic from the SMTP servers will be routed back to another VIP ...

Hi abi,

 

I think your backend servers have have internal self ip as default gateway or is it some other way . This depends on your network setup if you need source NAT or not . This will ensure that outbound traffic leaves F5 . then you have to create wildcard VS with destiantion 0.0.0.0/0 to any kind of outbound traffic . use fastl4 profile .

 

try with this if not works , enable loose intiation and close in the fastl4 profile .
