Kubernetes Flannel and F5 Big-IP integration

Hi Guys, We're relatively new to the F5 Big-IP world and we recently build up a Kubernetes Cluster. We try to connect it to the F5 Big-Ip (Series 2000) trought a VTEP interface as mentionned in the official documentation. The cluster is located on a vmware esxi on a specific vlan( different of the F5 Network) , then we wonder if it's necceseray to open the 8472 port.
