issue with external monitor and 2 nodes of big-ip LTM 1600 in cluster
Hi all! I've faced with strange issue related to the external monitor. We have 2xBig-IP LTM 1600, software version 10.2.4 (Build 771.0) in cluster configuration. I've created external monitor for checking nodes status in specific pool. It is just shell scripts which used curl and parse output do decide if node is UP or NOT. And i see strange behavior: On the standby node external monitor works fine and nodes marked as alive, but on active node external check fails. When i'm trying run scrupt manually i get the same result on this 2 boxes. Is anybody faced with the same issue?

I would run a tcpdump on the active box and watch the monitor traffic.
tcpdump -lnni 0.0 host [web server IP]If you see good back and forth, add the -Xs0 switch the above to look at the HTTP content (assuming this is unencrypted traffic).
