Is it mandatory to add gtm/dns to the server list under Data Center of GSLB?
hi, we are setting up GTM/DNS, after creating a Data Center. Should I must add local GTM/DNS to the server list under Data Center or just need local LTM appliances only? I saw one of our clients who added GTM to the server list but the status of GTM is disabled, and seems working fine after sync with other GTM/DNS. The other GTM can get the info about these LTMs and relevant virtual servers. Please advise, thanks in advance!
You should add local LTM appliances to the server list under the Data Center. Adding the local GTM is optional if it's disabled, as it can still synchronize with other GTM/DNS appliances and function correctly. Ensure synchronization between GTMs is properly configured.
it is better to register gtm/dns into its datacenter object so that gtm/dns can be used as prober pool member
