A search on AskF5.com for 'idle timeout' for LTM returns SOL6532:
Changing the idle timeout for a TCP virtual server
https://tech.f5.com/home/solutions/sol6532.html
I'm pretty sure this is also in the LTM config guides.

Actually, if you were referring to administrative access to the BIG-IP via HTTPS or SSH, there aren't supported methods for enforcing an idle timeout. CR26680 notes the request to add this functionality though:
CR26680 - Add a logout button and inactivity timer
You should be able to find info on the web for how to configure SSHD to close idle connections.
If you want to request to have this functionality added in a future version, please open a case with support referencing CR26680.

Has this been added yet if anyone knows? - hoolio

Not in any 9.x version I've seen. Maybe in v10, but I'm not sure. You could open a case with F5 Support referencing CR26680 and find out if the functionality for admin session timeouts has been added.
