is big-ip-5050 series of big-ip-5250v?

Hello, we have ordered big-ip-5250v and i have found big-ip 5050 series on the chassis and i want to know 5050 is series of 5250v or our provider has cheated me? Thx for your kind help and support ...

They are the same platform C109. So, same chassis but you get a performance upgrade by buying a 5250 over 5050 - just a license upgrade though required. It's part of F5's ScaleN architecture. When you come to license your device it should then show as a 5250v.
