Each irule still runs, they just run in the order specified by your priority. If you don't want any further irules to run for the event, you have to disable it with "event disable". https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iRules.event.ashx

NimbostratusI *thought* that was the point of the "return" statement. Otherwise "return" seems pointless. I will check out event disable also.
