iRuler fails to start

Hi Guys,

I have had iRuler installed for a couple months and recently I have began getting an error message when I try to start the app.

'iRuler - F5 iRule Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

Anywhoooo, I uninstalled (and searched/removed iruler registry bits) and reinstalled at least three times with a different download with no success. Any ideas? WinXP SP3/.NET2.0...

Thanks

  • Do you have the standalone msi or the clickonce version? Not sure I could help either way, but I'll move this to the iRule Editor forum so it will get to the right sets of eyes...
  • Do you have Visual Studio C Express? Freely downloadable from Microsoft and you can download the iRuler source on the labs page (Click here) and compile it locally. Starting it from within VS should work independent of a full install.
