iRule to tag packets with origin ip address of clients for the back end server

I am trying to figure out how to write an irule that uses the geolocation database to determine the client origin ip address and have the irule tag them to send to the back end server. The back end server needs to know the clients origin ip address to determine if what they can and cant access on the backend server. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
