iRule to send an especif file when number of connection exceed a number

Hi All!

 

I have a question, but I really don't have any idea how to solve this problem. If someone could help I appreciate.

 

The problem is: I want limit a number of downloads of an application's update, but I don't want to stop the user that are not with the last version.

 

I'm trying write an iRule to limit a number of downloads in 50% of capability of my link and if the link is used to update the application the other 50% will access the application normally and will not updated.

 

The client verify a file to see the application version. I think in send an old file case the number of updates are high 50%. This will force not update.

 

Any Idea how to do this or better ideas?
