irule to see most read articles

I have a news site, and to figure out whats most read in realtime i currenty use a sniffer and add the articles read to a counter, so i can see from minute to minute what articles are read from the front page.

In other words, if a page has the front page as refferer, i want the number of hits on that page.

Is there a way to do this from an irule, so i can throw the sniffer in the sea?
