irule to redirect on management interface

Hi,

 

 

If a request comes in on the management address port 80 and I want to redirect it to https:// can the redirect be done on the management interface?

 

 

How?

 

 

Device bigip 5100 version 9.4.8.

    Hi Peter,

     

     

    I don't think it's possible to use an iRule to redirect traffic on a management IP or self IP from HTTP to the management GUIs HTTPS service. You could modify the httpd.conf, but changes to the daemon conf files can get overwritten during upgrades/hotfix installations. I couldn't figure out a way to do this through the supported bigip_sys.conf include files.

    If you can't figure it out either, you could always open a case with F5 Support and make a request for enhancement.
