iRule that returns a simple web page

Hi-

 

I'm new to iRules. I need a simple iRule to apply to a VIP that just returns a simple web page with a simple message like "This is a test web page" All traffic comming in to that VIP will get that message. Basically I'm setting up a "bit bucket" VIP. I have an F5 BigIP 2400 running v4.5.10.

 

Can you help me out?

    In version 4.5 there isn't a way to alter the response sent to the client after the request has been issued. Your best bet would be to set this page up on a backup webserver and forward requests there when needed.
