iRule selecting DNS Pool based on content of the query

Is there a way that I can have the LTM loot at a DNS query and select a pool based on the request.

 

What I'm trying to accomplish is have the LTM select Pool A when the DNS request contains "int.testdomain.net" and Pool B for all other requests.

    Pat - this is more a function of GTM than LTM. You can certainly change pools based on the value of the HOST header - but to change pools based on DNS request, that would be a GTM function.

    Thanks for the info. I should of mentioned that I do have the DNS Services licensed. I was hoping that I was going to be able to do this.

     

    Given that I have the DNS Services licensed, would you have any other method for doing this ?

     

    Could I create a zone or something ? Ultimatly I want to send DNS requests for internal name space to a set of DNS servers, and all external resolution to another set of DNS servers.
