iRule? profile? iControl?

What does the administrator use to control the interaction between the user and the application? thanks for reading my question.

  • They don't. The F5 is designed to proxy the traffic to the application with as little intervention as possible. It only gets involved if you have a specific task in mind be it optimisation, caching, compression/SSL offloading, data modification, access control the list goes on. The primary goal of an F5 is availability. See my answer in that link for more detail.
