Thanks for that. Can you add details of the pool member selected to the browser logs?

You can add a line to the iRule to log this: 

 
 when SERVER_CONNECTED { 
    log local0. "[IP::client_addr]:[TCP::client_port]: Connected to server [IP::server_addr]:[TCP::server_port]" 
 }
