IPv6 Route Domains

Hey

I had heard there was an IPV6 forum but couldn't find it, that is why I am asking the question here, we are on code version 11.2:

We are building a POC for IPV6 load balancing in our network – IPV6 VS to IPV6 POOL and IPV6 VS to IPV4 POOL. We are Initially testing 6-2-4 but we have been unable to see the VS pass on connections to the pool. When I show sys connections I get

abcd:3c00:0:1::2%3.60210 abcd:3c00:6001::1%3.80 any6.any any6.any tcp 2 (slot/tmm: 1/7)

http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solu...l7758.html

which the above solution indicates that an LB has not be made.

We have setup the usual VLAN, self ip, and route config but the pool member just doesn’t get hit. We have confirmed the connection from the LTM to the server.

Our network build makes use of partition and as such we have built the POC in one of our custom partition which residing within its out route domain. I have come across an article

http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/prod...r=22944318

which has a note in it which sates IPV6 address must be build in the default domain 0,

Note: All IPv6 addresses that you define on the BIG-IP system must reside in route domain0.

which would not provide the functionally we would need as that would mean any IPV6 build would need to be in the common partition in route domain 0?

I am interrupting this correctly; any reading material on the material would be great. I have found it hard to dig some up.

Thanks

Gus
