AltocumulusMy 2 cents.... I never trust the "disable" for virtual servers... I put unrelated IPs on them, if I have to... like 1.2.3.4 (I know, that's valid subnet).... but you could use some private subnet you are not using else where if you prefer....
BIGIP also, when you make some config change, tends to remember the previous one for a while... and apply it to traffic (so as not to break existing services)....
