Hi
I have two servers running InterSystems Caché databases, one is active and the other is a shadow copy. As the shadow copy cannot return data to the primary should it fail. How do I prevent failback should the primary server come back on line?

If both members exist in the same pool, you can utilize "Manual Resume" within the Monitor associated with the pool in the F5 LTM.

I'd remove the inactive one from the pool altogether to prevent any possibility of a race condition / data corruption. I would even make the failover a manual process, making sure that the faulty server is completely off the network before the failover, in such a situation.
