Intermittent CPU Spikes on F5

Hi All,

 

I am using below BIGIP Platform: BIG-IP 2000 (C112) Version - Edition11.6.1 - Hotfix HF2

 

Almost every hour observing the cpu spike to be happening on even cores.

 

Collecting the top output, i observe intermittently high utilization is because of this :

Any idea why is this happening ?

    I don't think this directly addresses your question, from 11.5, even cores are used for TMM (data plane) and odd cores are used for management plane. K15468

    I've seen similar on a 11.6.1 HF1 box, in my case it's attributed to the ephemeral key generation (hourly). See K14818
