Interface configurations for vcmp host and vcmp guests on Viprion 2250 blade.
Hello, I'm new to the viprions and vcmp architecture, we are migrating from BIG-IP 4200 to viprion platform with 2400 chassis and 2250 blades.
in this regard i have some confusion on setting up the vcmp feature for interface and VLAN assignments for multiple instances of a blade. As the 2250 blade has 4 40G ports and i would like to run 4 vcmp instances on that blade. So assuming each instance will be a different environment(TEST/DEV/PROD/LAB), should i need to reserve each interface to one environment or can i configure all the 4 interfaces for all 4 instances treating them as a whole new interfaces per each instance, or in other words can we assign different VLANS to the same interface in different vcmp instances.
any help would be appreciated.
thank you..!!

i would indeed go for different VLANs over the same interface. doing one interface per VCMP guest gives you a single point of failure. combining the interfaces in an aggregate and then using VLANs seems like the better way.
