Intercept LDAP password expired

Hi all, I perform LDAP authentication with a custom iRule. I need to intercept when LDAP password has expired.... and then perform a redirect to an application to reset the password. Someone can help me? Thanks, Salvatore

  • Hi Marco, as you can see this post refers to 2010. At the time, we used only the module LTM and the only way we have found to do this is to redirect the client to an application that takes care to check if the password has expired and provides the necessary form to change it when authentication fail (Basic Authentication). It is not very clean but it worked.

I am not able to tell you if you can (now) to intercept the password expires in another way using LTM.

However, I can confirm you that with the APM there is no problem in intercepting the password and change it.

    Regards, Salvatore
