InstallerControl.exe file with VPN issue
Hi All, We have a network access VPN connection that was recently installed using the built-in wizard. We tested the VPN within our local test network and it works great. However when I test it with a machine on a different network that is more locked down (with our internal security policies) we get the following error when it gets to the installercontrol download step:
"the publisher of installercontrol_setup.exe couldn't be verified" InstallerControl_setup.exe (Installation failed. Error: A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority. File \local\Temp\IXP000.TMP\InstallerControl.cab-1,-1-,1
Anyone else ever have this issue? I'm fairly new to F5 so excuse my naivete We are using 11.5.1 HF7\
Thanks, Jason

I'm guessing your domain machines have something like appLocker that only allow signed applications from specified vendors?

It seems it is missing some certificates and during the installation it does not have access to internet to download them. Can you check the installercontrol.exe on the properties -> digital signature and ensure that you have all necessary certs on the certification path? Think it should be Entrust certificates, so you can download and manually add them in your Trusted Root Certification authorities.
