INET Port exhaustion
Hi,
We are seeing this error Inet port exhaustion on "10.x.x.x to 151.x.x.x:443 (proto 6)" on our LTM device. We are running on 11.5.1 HF10. When crossed check the LTM there is no VIP configured on 151.x.x.x. It is weird that LTM is still generating this error for that non existent VIP. Please help in sorting out this issue.
Thanks, Sekhar

Hi,
I think 151.x.x.x:443 is an address of a pool member. Anyway, the Inet port exhaution is rare and occur if your translation table for SNAT is full, and this happens usually when you are using SNAT Automap and your F5 reaches the maximum of translation a single IP can handle. See the following for more information:

If you need to accomodate a very large number of concurrent connections, then use a SNAT pool with a sufficient number of IPs.
