Increase in query time after upgrading F5 DNS from version 12 to 13

Hi Experts,

We are encountering this behavior in DNS version 13, wherein there are multiple timeouts in DNS query but still able to get the IP. Having multiple timeouts made the query time longer.

Check the wideip configuration, if you have enabled IPV6 option? Make sure you unckeck it. It will solve issue. Still same, paste screen?

  Hi f5_rock thank you, since the setup is replicated on my VM will test this one. Hope that it will resolve the issue :)

  Hi I just remember that we are not using WIP. On our testing we are querying on the A record of DNS resource.
