Importing BIG IP VE to VirtualBox error

Hey everyone,

 

I'm trying to import the BIG IP VE ova file into VirtualBox but no matter what I do I get the following error:

 

Failed to import appliance C:\Users\fanttazio\Documents\VM\F5\BIGIP-12.0.0.0.0.606.LTM-ide.ova.

 

Medium 'C:\Users\fanttazio\VirtualBox VMs\F5-LTM-1\BIGIP-12.0.0.0.0.606-disk1.vmdk' is already attached to port 1, device 0 of controller 'IDE Controller' of this virtual machine.

 

Result Code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_IN_USE (0x80BB000C) Component: ApplianceWrap Interface: IAppliance {8398f026-4add-4474-5bc3-2f9f2140b23e}

 

Google didn't give me anything useful and from what I have seen on couple of posts, people have imported this file into VirtualBox with no problem. I'm using the latest version of VirtualBox on Windows 8.1. Anybody has any idea how to fix this issue?

    Hmmm, shouldn't you be using the xxx-scsi.ova file, not the xxx-ide.ova? Also, have you checked this out? https://devcentral.f5.com/s/feed/0D51T00006i7XgWSAU. You may need to edit the ovf file (you'll need to unzip the ova first) if the above don't help and try and work out what needs to be removed, disk-wise.
