iControls / iRules Monitor Nodes

We currently have 780 web sites residing on 5 web servers. We are looking for a solution to monitoring the nodes with out having each node do an individual check. Something like a main monitor where...

Definitely you'd have to have some device checking/reporting each node's status.

 

 

I think aherrman is remembering is the monitor setting -- with y monitors configured, at least x of y monitors need to be up or the pool member is marked down. Could be helpful in this situation, or could be exactly the opposite of what you're looking for.

 

 

Clarification of the real goal(s) would be very helpful in determining alternatives.
