iControl Services Manager (iSM)

Does anyone know if and perhaps when iSM will support the version 9.x traffic management product family?

    I don't think iSM will support v9. I think the plan is to sell an iControl appliance that will replace iSM. (Not sure the schedule)...

     

     

    In the mean time I am working on a Nagios iControl module to provide the monitoring functionality. (I will be releasing it to devcentral when I am done).

     

     

    I plan to have this done in the next 2-3 months.

    iSM v1.3 will only support v4.x BIG-IP/3-DNS devices and no additional feature development of iSM v1.3 is currently planned.

     

     

    We are working on a new product to deliver enterprise management features to BIG-IP v9, FirePass, and TrafficShield products. The target release is Summer 2005.
