icontrol scheduling of an iRule for specific time

I saw a topic in the Irules forum to tune an Irule execution on base of the date/time. Someone showed how to do it in the Irule itself but I'd like to perform it via an external (perl) application. If someone could show me some codes examples about this kind of stuff it could helps me a lot.

 

The point is to add an irule to a VS some days and to retire it on the other days of the week.

 

I did'nt find anything about it in the codeshare.
