iControl Python - BIG-IP Self Signed Cert

Still very much learning python, so please allow for me possibly overlooking something already.
Is there a method using the PyControl or Bigsuds libraries to connect to Big-IP's API with self signed certficates?

Are you using Python v2.7.9. URL handling appears to have changed. Sounds like you may need to downgrade. See this for some detail: https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/issue-while-using-pycontrol-with-python27-ssl-certificate_verify_failed
