If the service is http web site, you could check which http platform is used for the service. I normally use more or less generic for Linux (Apache) based services and for Microsoft IIS based ones. These should give you a good starting point. Depending on the application you may need to tweak some profiles, but the good thing is that the iApps do create new application specific instances of those profiles. Check also if there are newer versions of the iApp templates than what is installed on the BIG-IP you have.
