    Assuming that you mean you would like to upgrade from v9 without installing the config or license, you will need to upgrade to v10.0, then to the later version.

     

    Commands below should work:

     

    im BIGIP-10.0.1.283.0.iso image2disk --format=volumes --instslot=HD1.X --nosaveconfig --nosavelicense BIGIP-10.0.1.283.0.iso

     

    After this, upgrade with software management via the GUI.
