I need opinion to deploy 3 IIS node on F5 LTM
Hi,
I need feedback and best practice to deploy three IIS node in F5 LTM. Basically i have 3 IIS node hosting one website. Can any one share best practice to deploy this portal using F5 load balancer? I need following guide or opinion on
- Creating a monitor- What is the setting should I apply for monitor my IIS server. my current monitor setting as below:
- Create Node- What is the setting should I apply for ny IIS node. My current Node setting:
- Create Pool- What is the setting should I apply for Pool setting? My current pool setting:
- Create Virtual Server- What is the setting should i apply for virtual server? - My current virtual server setting:
Any things that i missed or need to change on the setting?

You should go thru user guide for better understanding. Anyway,
for virtual, service port to 443.
You may also need to add clientssl/serverssl if you wish to terminate ssl/TLS on F5. You should add http profile
for pool, you can have https monitor and pool members (IIS nodes) are added.
for nodes, you do not need any monitor for initial setup.
