i has a pool with 8 members out of 8 , 4 members i kept force offline (Black) through GUI. same pool i have checked in CLI all members -8 are up .

Hi Team ,

 

I have a question like , i has a pool with 8 members out of 8 , 4 members i kept force offline (Black) through GUI. same pool i have checked in CLI all members -8 are up . i wondering why two diff status are showing in GUL and CLI. Currently i am using version 11.5.4 , build 2.0.291 and hotfix edition HF2

 

I have checked the node level as well . node is in blue color i didn't do any changes on node level .

 

Can you pls explain why . ?

    That cannot be the case. Can you do a list command of pool and share it here. Mask the objects wherever needed.

    Are you sure that the pool members are 'forced offline' and not 'disabled'? What are you seeing in TMSH (CLI) that indicates the members are up?

     

    If the pool member is disabled, TMSH will show 'session user-disabled' but the 'state' will still represent what the monitor returns. So you can be 'user-disabled' but in 'up' state if the monitor is successful.

     

    When 'forced offline' the 'state' should show 'user-down' in TMSH.
