https SSL connection reset
Hi,
I have a challenge connecting to a website over F5 VPN from an iOS device (iPhone and iPad). We need to use VPN because our WiFi for mobile devices does not provide internal network access.
On the iOS client:
In Chrome: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
In Safari: Safari cannot open the page becasue the network connection was lost.
On the web server:
- SSL Version data invalid
- appears to be either unknown SSL version or maybe is plaintext
- Invalid/unknown SSL header was received from peer ... during SSL handshake
Other info:
- The website works when the iPad is connected to a WiFi that provides internal network access (connecting to the VPN while on this WiFi causes it to stop working)
- I believe the VPN using Proxying for SSL.
- Connecting via HTTP to an html page on the web server works while on VPN. (In other words, it seems to be an SSL issue)
Thanks,
Jon

John, is the Website in question also hosted on the BIG-IP?

Thanks Tiny Cloud Ninja. The website is not hosted on BIG-IP. It is on our internal network. We use BIG-IP to VPN into the internal network from our mobile devices.
Thanks,
Jon
