HTTPS connection problems

I’m new to F5 and Big-IP, but I’m trying to setup an HTTPS (443) connection to two SAP servers and each of the SAP servers has two web services running on them no ports 51101 & 51201.     B...

It sounds like you don't have a client SSL profile configured on the virtual server. If you do not, and you add an HTTP profile, LTM will try and not be able to decrypt the traffic. As a result, no connection to the pool will be attempted. If you import the SSL cert/key, create a client SSL profile and add it to the VIP, you should be able to use an HTTP profile and HTTP based iRule.
