https and i rule

I have a irule set up for http traffic useragent to be looked from HTTP header.

 

My questions is will it impacts https traffic in following scenario.??

 

No ssl offloading on LTM.

 

Here is my understanding.

 

https is http+ssl

 

SSL encrypts an HTTP message prior to transmission and decrypts a message upon arrival. It is use of ordinary HTTP over an encrypted SSL/TLS connection.

 

So in this case we don't have SSL off loading on LTM.LTM will not see the http request encrypted in ssl.so the irule defined for http traffic will not impact the https traffic
