NimbostratusHTTP to HTTPS reidrect
VIP:-vip_idp_ilmarinen_net Port:-443
redirect type 301 to https://idp.ilmarinen.net/
if user types http in browser it should be redirected to https so i need to fulfill this request. Please suggest.

Maybe those 2 SOLs could help, one use profile, another one implement it using irule.

There is an inbuild iRule that you can use to accomplish this. iRule - _sys_https_redirect
========================================================================================== create virtual vip_idp_ilmarinen_net_80 destination 1.1.1.1:80 mask 255.255.255.255
modify virtual vip_idp_ilmarinen_net_80
ip-protocol tcp
profiles replace-all-with { /Common/http }
rules { /Common/_sys_https_redirect }
exit

The default HTTP profile that is already on the LTM can be used. 11.4 version has a default HTTP profile. You really don't have to create one.
