http iApp and question about FQDN
In the http iApp one of the questions is "What FQDNs will clients use to access the servers?" Is the fqdn used anywhere?

Not sure what you mean by 'used elsewhere' but it's used for the monitor, to send the Host header.

It is also used in the requested host list in the AAM web application.

Hi Renee,
the FQDN is used if you select "Create a new health monitor", it will create a custom HTTP monitor with a specific request containing the HTTP header Host : yourFQDN.

Thank you all for the answers, I figured it was used somewhere. If you have more than one FQDN listed, does just the top one get used then?
- mikeshimkus_111Historic F5 AccountFor the monitor, only the first FQDN will be used. All of the FQDNs will be added to the AAM requested hosts list.
