Http header removal from the Http Requests

Hi,

 

 

I am having a requirement to remove the Http header (for example sso_user) from the Http request in the F5 LTM before sending the Traffic to the pool member.

 

 

Is it recommended modifying the HTTP profile or Use an Irule ?

 

 

Any suggestions

    Personally, it's always better to try the profile before going to irule. But irule is your best friend if http profile does not work out.

    If it's just one header you want to remove, the HTTP profile option would be simpler and more efficient than an iRule as CB said.
